Mrs Patton, We already miss you like crazy. You were our best friend for many years. We cherish the time we spent with you. Stella loved you as if you were her mother. I remember when you and stella were going walking every day. You would be dressed, with your tennis shoes on, just waiting for Stella to drive home from work. when the weather was pretty, yall walked in the neighborhood. when needed, y'all loaded up and went to walk in the mall. we loved going out to eat catfish with you. you and Stella were people watchers, extraordinaire. We always had to get back home in time to watch dancing with the stars. You kept your lawn and flowers looking so very nice. I came home from the school bus route one day when you were approx 80 yrs old. I caught you up on a ladder with a yard rake, trying to rake the pine straw off your roof. Scared me! You and Stella went shopping everyday, just so y'all could go eat a salad, somewhere. I was so happy on my birthday when you would have me a coconut birthday cake ready to cut. I really looked forward to that every year. I always told Stella, no matter what she wanted to do when she got home from work, to save it for another day if Mrs Patton wanted to go somewhere when you got home from work. We loved visiting with you at your house every evening. I don't know that we will ever get over this, I mean with you not being here with us, Thank you for keeping a chocolate candy supply at your house. I had my hand in that candy bowl every day. We have been praying for you for many years. Your family members were excellent caregivers for you. They all love you so very much. I hope you had a very joyous, heavenly, reunion with your family and friends up there. We will see you again, one day. God love this lady.
