Mrs. Hipp was born on December 13, 1939 and passed away on October 26, 2020. She was a member of McClendon Baptist Church. She worked for the Trenton House for many years, where she enjoyed meeting new people and shopping at market. She later worked for the Glenwood Hospital Gift Shop. Mrs. Hipp loved people wholeheartedly and thrived in investing in others. On Friday evenings, you could always catch her listening to her beloved West Monroe High School Rebels football. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. Family meant everything to her.

She is preceded in death by her parents, S.C. Simpson and Mabel Ann Jasper Simpson; husband Billy E. Hipp; brother, Jerry Simpson; and sister-in-law, Connie Simpson.
