Biography: Born and raised in Chatham, LA, Dorothy moved to West Monroe to attend BMI business school. After graduating, she went on to work at LP&L, where she met the love of her life, "Kirk". They were married in 1951 and she made a loving home for her husband and 6 kids. She became a great cook where she prepared many delicious meals for her family as well as her kids' friends. She became such a celebrated cook that the local newspaper highlighted her skills numerous times. Later, she provided a loving environment to her grandchildren. She was a godly mother and faithful member First Baptist Church of West Monroe.
