Biography: Phil was born on August 31, 1958 in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin and died on July 13, 2020 in West Monroe, LA. Phil was a graduate of ULM, where he played baseball. He was a teacher and coach at West Monroe High School for 33 years. Phil was the Camp Coordinator for ULM Warhawk Baseball for many years. Phil is preceded in death by his parents Gordon and Winnie; in-laws, Bob and Joan Feuerstein; brother-in-law, Bob Kaiser

We all appreciated the job Coach K did for WM baseball. Our boys really learned a lot from him. Thank you Jane for sharing him with us and making a difference in all the lives he touched! ❤️

Phil was my brothers best friend. He was at many of our family functions. When I walked into our family home and I saw Phil Keifenhiem there my heart immediately began to smile. This man enjoyed life, worshipped his wife and two daughters, and loved his friends. The laughter and love Phil created was infectious. He was a genuine kind and caring man. The Keifenhiem’s were my Mom’s neighbors and when my Dad passed away they became her “adopted” children. Phil and Jane watched over my Mom like she was their own mother. I can truly say this man is what each and everyone should strive to be more like ....kind, caring, loving, funny, thoughtful, considerate, and big hearted and I can not leave out he loved an ice cold beer. When I get to see you in heaven Phil I’ll be coming with an ice cold beer for you. I love this family ..Sissy

we always appreciated Coach K being on the baseball field with our boys. has there ever been another west monroe coach to be a part of 2 state championships in 2 sports? Coach K did it. Praying for his family during this difficult time.
