Biography: Caroline Elizabeth Bradford was born on April 1, 2010. The angels came to gather one of their own on September 13, 2021 taking her home way too early. Our sweet Caroline, born in Alexandria, Louisiana, was most known by her family and friends as “care-bear.” Other names included Carol, Cine and or Line (both short for Caroline) and “Scoot or BooBoo” and “Chick” by her parents and of course “Sweet Caroline.”
Caroline was a lover of all animals. Whether it was a lizard, a chicken or a cat, it didn’t matter. As an incredibly kind, caring and extremely fun-loving preteen, her personality sparkled as she practiced to be an actress. She was proficient with a British accent but also told us it was a bit Australian when asked! Caroline was quick witted, funny and so creative. She kept us laughing with her funny faces she would make, her impromptu commercials as well as the dramatic speeches she would have with herself. When she was acting a scene, she was able to play both parts at times, hilariously…making appropriate funny faces and voice changes to match whichever character she was highlighting! She kept us all laughing.
“Care-bear” loved to be creative with her arts and crafts, which included painting and drawing; and was passionate about cooking and baking, her favorite past times. Hands down, her specialty in the kitchen was always desserts; although, she preferred a pasta dish when she cooked for herself. Whether noodles or rice, it was always a scrumptious yummy meal. She absolutely loved to cook!
During her first years in school, she enjoyed and excelled being home schooled. The 2021 fall semester put her into the public school system at Jena Jr High, where she was just beginning to display her abilities and hidden potential.
She was loved by many and her sweet spirit will be missed by all. The family will cherish our Angel’s memory as the gift it was.
Following the service Caroline will be laid to rest in the Nebo Cemetery under the directions of Kinner & Stevens Funeral Home.
