Biography: Jeannie D Whittington, also known as FJ Whittington, gained her wings on February 23, 2021 at St. Francis Hospital in Monroe, Louisiana.
Graveside services will be held Saturday February 27, 2021 at Green Acres Memorial Park in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The viewing will be held at 12:00 p.m. with the burial service following at 1:00 p.m.
Mrs. Whittington was well respected and well loved in the West Monroe area. She loved God, her family and her grandchildren.
She was born in England, Arkansas. She lived in Rolling Fork, Vicksburg and Jackson Mississippi. She moved to West Monroe, Louisiana where she met and married the love of her life, Mr. AD Whittington. They worked, traveled and enjoyed life together.
Mrs. Whittington was proceeded in death by her parents Jeff and Mary Duncan; son Doyle Nations; husband AD Whittington; brother Jeff Duncan and niece Darla Duncan.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ICU Ministries, P.O. Box 2427 West Monroe, Louisiana 71294, a non-profit ministry her son and daughter-in-love opened and manage which feed homeless, needy and hurting families.
